Sometimes we end up in places we didn’t even know were in Bloomington, but when you hear a song like “How to Save a Life” from The Fray or select John Melencamp tracks and realize you were in studio where these songs were recorded, it is kind of cool experience.

Anyway, this recording studio has a full leather couch for artists to use in the mixing room and somehow it got a +12″ jagged rip in it.

The cushions are sewn to the frame, so an on-the-spot repair is your best option unless you want to pay extra to haul the piece away, fit it, and deliver it back.

It will be neat to visit again and see what else gets recorded here.
