These are expensive seats on a new Ford Edge. As you can see, someone had the bad idea of using a box cutter to take off the plastic that is on new seats.

As you can see, the cut goes across the entire seat… about 24″… it was pretty big mistake. When you cut material with a razor, it automatically tends to curl on the ends. Just filling the area won’t fix the problem and when if flexes, there is a new crease.

To fix this, we need to actually rejoin pieces by melding them and restamping the surface to get the grain right. There are also a number of layers that go into blending it correctly and it is a challenge to avoid the dark stitches in this piece.

Just this one seat would cost $850-$1200 + Installation + shipping.

We were able to save it for a fraction of that price.
